Class Listings
Every homeschooling family is different! God has blessed each of us in different ways and with different gifts. At Adventurers, we try to supplement what the families are doing at home with what we have to offer. Classes each semester are planned by surveying the families involved to determine their needs. This means that each semester is different from previous semesters. All registered families are invited and encouraged to participate in the class planning process. Most classes have a small Materials Fee to cover any supplies that may be needed.
Previous semesters have had classes in planning and executing travel experiences, including Italy, Scotland, D.C., NYC, Germany, Austria, and northern Italy. We have produced Shakespeare and other plays. Local professors have taught classes for us. Student-led clubs and classes allow teachers and the student to learn together (what a wonderful opportunity for leadership training). We have offered flag football, robotics seminars and web design. If there is a creative way to teach something, we welcome it.
